Highlighting is a feature that, within each document in the search result set that matches the search, emphasizes the search keywords entered by the user and extracts surrounding text (referred to as a highlighted snippets) to include the keyword. When the application displays search results, showing highlighted snippets makes it easier for the search user to choose the desired document.
