Overview of the Management Console

Project View and Instance View

The various operations of KandaSearch are performed through the management console. To use the management console, you need to create a KandaSearch account and log in.

After logging in to the KandaSearch management console, you will see a list of projects. Clicking on a specific project from this list allows you to perform operations related to that project. At this point, the management console is referred to as the 'Project View' menu.

Project View

When a specific project is selected in the management console, the Project View is displayed, showing the following menu items.

  • Overview
  • Members
  • Backup
  • Restore
  • Web Crawler
  • Billing Information (This is only available for ADMIN users.)
  • Extensions
  • Synonym Dict.
  • Settings

Selecting 'Overview' will display a list of instances. Clicking on a specific instance from this list allows you to perform operations related to that instance. At this point, the management console is referred to as the 'Instance View' menu.

Instance View

When a specific instance is selected in the management console, the Instance View is displayed, showing the following menu items.

  • Overview
  • Collections
  • Config
  • File Manager
  • Search
  • Health Check (This feature is not available on the Community instance.)
  • Monitoring (This feature is not available on the Community instance.)
  • Settings
